Shaping the Future with Our Parks, Recreation, and Trails Master Plan
The County of Lake, renowned for its picturesque beauty and diverse recreational offerings, has introduced its first-ever comprehensive Parks, Recreation, and Trails Master Plan.
In Fall 2022, the County of Lake began developing this roadmap focused on park, recreation, and trail improvements, addressing maintenance and operations of the system, and guiding ongoing improvements and decisions. It specifically addresses recreational trails, building and expanding on the Konocti Regional Trails Master Plan.
Over the past eighteen months, the county has dedicated efforts to enhance its outdoor spaces in alignment with the needs and aspirations of its residents.
The recent presentation of the Master Plan Draft to the Lake County Board of Supervisors on May 21st marks a crucial milestone in the planning process, signifying progress towards a vibrant and sustainable future for Lake County.
