This website is setup under contract to the County of Lake, California in order to deliver information related to the County's monthly electronic newsletter ("Newsletter"). That Newsletter is primarily distributed by email, among other methods. The use of the terms such as "we" and "our" in this Privacy Policy describes this website (www.CountyofLakeNews.com).

In order to operate this site, we receive, collect, and store any information you enter on this website or provide us in any other way. In addition, we collect the Internet protocol (IP) address used to connect your computer to the Internet; login; e-mail address; password; computer and connection information. To receive the Newsletter you must affirmatively opt-in by following the instructions in the emails sent to you. If you do not affirmatively opt-in through these emails, or you will not receive the Newsletter.
